Senior Settlement Operation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate settlement operations for derivative financial products, overseeing clearing, accounting, and reconciliation processes.
• Handle end-to-end settlement and clearing for government bonds, corporate bonds, and fixed-income instruments.
• Review foreign exchange transactions to ensure compliance with internal guidelines and statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Product Offices to support Treasury Back Office transaction workflows.
• Mentor and train junior staff through onboarding, coaching, and constructive feedback.
• Coordinate with internal departments and regional offices to facilitate project rollouts and new product launches.
• Prepare detailed reports for management and local authorities to monitor transactions and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Assist in developing and updating operational policies to align with industry best practices and regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Treasury Back Office operations or similar settlement roles.
• Comprehensive understanding of settlement procedures for government bonds, corporate bonds, fixed-income instruments, derivatives, and FX.
• Strong knowledge of industry trends and relevant financial regulations.
• Proven stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging with counterparties, custodians, and brokers.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prepare accurate reports under tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret regulatory requirements and ensure strict adherence to internal policies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification in Derivative Financial Instruments or Foreign Exchange.
• Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
