About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive services revenue growth by increasing bookings and attach rates to product opportunities in priority accounts
- Partner with Regional Sales Managers on account planning, stakeholder mapping, and pipeline building
- Lead discovery sessions with engineering and executive stakeholders to translate technical needs into value-based services engagements
- Develop compelling business cases, presentations, and SOWs outlining scope, milestones, and cost justification
- Manage the end-to-end services sales cycle including qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and closing
- Collaborate with Professional Services leaders to shape and price solutions and delivery timelines
- Maintain forecast accuracy and pipeline discipline within Salesforce
- Act as a mentor for services selling to enable account teams on positioning and discovery
Requirements
- Significant experience in consultative B2B selling of professional services, technical solutions, or complex software
- Demonstrated success closing high-value, complex engagements and negotiating MSAs/SOWs
- Ability to manage the full sales cycle from discovery through to close
- Working knowledge of embedded software development lifecycles
- Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft 365
- Willingness to travel across North America (typically 25–50%)
- Strong communication skills for interacting with both technical and executive stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling into regulated or safety-critical industries such as automotive, medical, or defense
- Familiarity with safety and security standards like ISO 26262 or IEC 61508
- Background in embedded platforms or prior experience in engineering/architect roles
- Experience with value-based pricing and services business case development
