Senior ServiceNow Developer

Responsibilities

• Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements
• Build and support company-specific custom applications and workflows
• Utilize advanced scripting to create and optimize business rules, client scripts, and server-side scripts
• Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and external data sources
• Mature the corporate-wide CMDB and foster organizational adoption
• Maintain and improve the service catalog and associated workflows
• Support platform administration, including upgrades, security monitoring, and access controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-aligned solutions
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations and development work

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 3-5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer
• Hands-on experience with custom application development, Flow Designer, and integrations
• Extensive knowledge of GlideRecord, scripted REST APIs, and server-side scripting
• Experience with ServiceNow frontend methodologies like Employee Center, Workspaces, and UI Builder
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and REST API
• Solid understanding of ITIL concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience maturing the CMDB with custom import solutions
• Experience with platform administration, upgrades, and security monitoring
• Certifications in CSM, HAM, S2P, WSD, or Platform Analytics
• Experience with ServiceNow AI products like Now Assist and Build Agent
