Senior Service Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Repair Service Department in Bucharest, ensuring quality, schedule, safety, and cost requirements are met
• Regularly interact with senior management and executive levels regarding functional areas, divisions, and customer matters
• Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient departmental operations
• Promote and implement Lean programs, 6S methods, and Continuous Improvement Projects
• Coordinate with logistics and materials personnel to manage the receipt-to-ship process and meet repair targets
• Interface with local and global functions including IT, Facilities, Quality, and HR to align support

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
• 10+ years of experience in technical manufacturing or repair operations environments
• Familiarity with MRP systems (Oracle experience is a plus)
• Excellent leadership, people management, and influencing skills at a senior level
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills
• Ability and clearance to travel to the US for training and approximately 5-10% ongoing travel

• Fluency in German
