About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct user and stakeholder interviews to design and map end-to-end services
- Develop service blueprints, workflows, and interaction models
- Identify pain points and opportunities across touchpoints to improve service delivery
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, UX Researchers, UX Designers, and technical teams
- Ensure alignment with Government of Canada digital standards and accessibility requirements
- Support modernization through efficient and intuitive service design
- Maintain ethical research practices and protect participant privacy
- Contribute to the service design template library with reusable artifacts
Requirements
- Post-secondary education
- More than 10 years of experience as a Service Designer
- Experience conducting primary research and reviewing user touchpoints
- Experience developing service design standards and best practices
- Experience adhering to WCAG 2.1 AA and Canada.ca guidelines
- Proficiency in delivering System Maps, Service Blueprints, Journey Maps, and Personas
- Experience working in Agile product team environments
- Fluency in spoken and written English
Preferred Qualifications
- Government of Canada Reliability security clearance
- Former public sector work experience
