Senior Selenium Automation Tester

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test suites using Selenium and other testing frameworks
• Code automated tests for both Web applications and APIs
• Build and configure automated testing frameworks and continuous testing processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and identify automation opportunities
• Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts to resolve issues
• Assist in the creation of detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports
• Continuously improve the automation framework to optimize test efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or a related demonstrated learning path
• 2-6 years of experience in QA Automation Testing specifically with Selenium
• Proficiency in Java
• Proficiency in Gherkin/Cucumber
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration tools
• Understanding of automated testing tools and frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Finance, banking, or insurance industry
• ISTQB Certification in Software Testing
• ITIL Certification
• Experience with performance and load testing tools
