Senior Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work with product and engineering teams to review features and suggest security improvements
• Drive S-SDLC, security acceptance criteria, and threat modeling
• Perform pre-deployment and post-deployment security penetration tests
• Plan and execute web, mobile, and cloud security assessments
• Identify security issues through red teaming activities with infrastructure teams
• Define, implement, and monitor infrastructure security measures
• Manage incident response, vulnerability research, and bug-bounty programs
• Coordinate company-wide response to security incidents until remediation
• Mentor members of the security team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in application and infrastructure penetration testing
• Highly experienced in security code reviews
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of software development principles and version control (Git)
• Hands-on experience implementing security policies across various environments
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Solid understanding of networks and network security
• Hands-on experience managing SIEM solutions
• Knowledge of EDR, IDS, CSPM, and CWPP

Preferred Qualifications

• Python experience
• Experience with serverless/lambda
• Experience with Fortinet
