Senior Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security configurations across cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP using tools like Wiz and Valence.
• Develop and manage detection mechanisms for toxic cloud risks, public exposure, and runtime threats.
• Collaborate with SOC and incident response teams to triage and remediate security issues.
• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines using SAST, DAST, dependency scans, and secrets detection.
• Support early threat modeling and vulnerability assessments during the design and release phases.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure alignment with CIS benchmarks, NIST, OWASP, and internal policies.
• Participate in security bootcamps and internal education sessions to promote secure coding and cloud hygiene.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud security.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of security tools such as Wiz or Valence.
• Experience implementing SAST, DAST, and dependency scans.
• Strong understanding of CIS benchmarks, NIST, and OWASP frameworks.
