Senior Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Secure flight computers, controllers, embedded processors, instrumentation, sensors, and telemetry devices
• Design and validate secure boot and firmware integrity controls to prevent unauthorized manipulation
• Protect hypersonic test infrastructure including wind tunnels, propulsion stands, and data acquisition systems
• Ensure end-to-end protection of telemetry pipelines to maintain test data integrity and authenticity
• Perform threat modeling on cyber-physical workflows and integrate security into test software development
• Define security requirements for suppliers and validate firmware provenance to mitigate supply chain risks

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product security, embedded security, OT security, or cyber-physical systems
• Hands-on experience securing non-cloud and non-SaaS systems
• Experience with embedded Linux, RTOS, or bare-metal environments
• Ability to threat-model hardware, software, and operational workflows
• Active Top Secret clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CISSP or CISSP-ISSEP
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements including NISPOM, ITAR, and DFARS
• Experience with CMMC Level 2+ requirements and RMF for non-IT systems
