Senior Security Engineer

Responsibilities

Depending on your expertise, you will focus on one or more of the following:

• Application & AI Security: Own the secure SDLC and defend against LLM-specific threats, including prompt injection defense and SAST/DAST integration.
• Cloud & Infrastructure Security: Secure cloud environments (AWS/GCP), manage CSPM, and implement Terraform IaC gates and JIT access.
• Security Operations: Build detection capabilities, own incident response functions, and manage SIEM/SOAR workflows.
• Data Security: Design frameworks to classify and protect audio, transcription, and PII at scale using DLP controls and Snowflake permissions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on security engineering experience (building, not consulting)
• Deep expertise in at least one security domain (AppSec, Cloud, SecOps, or Data Security)
• Proven ability to scope work and select tools independently
• Ability to communicate risk clearly to engineering and leadership
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, CIS Benchmarks, OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, or SOC 2

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Semgrep, CodeQL, or Checkov
• Knowledge of hardware and firmware security
• Experience with enterprise IT security
