Senior Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own platform security architecture across cloud and on-prem deployments, including isolation, identity, and network controls
• Lead internal red team efforts to probe access controls, agent action boundaries, and tenant isolation
• Solve complex authentication and identity problems within the SAP ecosystem (SSO, SAML, OAuth, RFC)
• Raise internal security baselines and drive adherence to compliance frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and CCPA
• Partner with enterprise customer security teams, including CISOs and security architects
• Research and develop offensive and defensive AI capabilities for SAP security
• Represent Nova in the security and SAP communities through writing and speaking

Requirements

• Deep hands-on experience in application security, cloud security (AWS), and IAM
• Adversarial mindset with experience in offensive (red team/pentest) or defensive engineering
• Informed understanding of AI security risks such as prompt injection and sandbox escapes
• Fluency in compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA)
• Strong communication skills for interacting with both engineers and executives

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of security engineering, architecture, or offensive security experience
• Deep AWS security expertise (IAM, KMS, networking)
• Experience hardening multi-tenant SaaS platforms
• Experience leading SOC 2 Type II or ISO 27001 certification efforts
• Familiarity with SAP, ABAP, or enterprise application security
• Track record of public technical output (writing, talks, CVEs, or open-source)
