Senior Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Engineer, tune, and operate detections and response workflows across Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel using KQL
• Lead M365 tenant hardening initiatives across the E5 stack
• Administer endpoint security through Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Intune
• Build security automation using Logic Apps, PowerShell, and Azure Functions
• Own vulnerability assessment and remediation tracking
• Secure Azure infrastructure and manage Microsoft Purview for data governance
• Strengthen identity and access management (IAM) practices
• Secure and govern AI and AI agents across the firm
• Document standards, procedures, and runbooks

Requirements

• 4–7+ years of experience as a Security Engineer at a large, multi-state organization
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Sentinel, and KQL
• Experience with M365 tenant hardening (Entra ID, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint)
• Proficiency in Azure infrastructure security and security automation (SOAR)
• Experience with Microsoft Purview (DSPM, IP, DLP, IRM, DLM, AI)
• Experience in a law firm or similarly regulated, confidentiality-driven environment
• Demonstrated experience securing AWS and/or GCP environments
• Experience designing security controls for AI and agent-based workloads
