Senior Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering and platform teams to design secure and scalable solutions
• Conduct architecture and security design reviews for applications, APIs, cloud services, and infrastructure
• Lead threat modeling exercises using STRIDE, PASTA, and ATT&CK-based approaches
• Embed security throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Review application security findings from SAST, DAST, SCA, and penetration testing
• Provide strategic oversight for WAF, API Gateways, and Bot Mitigation Platforms
• Oversee vulnerability management programs and lead penetration testing initiatives
• Design and implement security controls for AI/ML platforms, addressing risks like prompt injection and model abuse
• Mentor engineers and security practitioners on secure architecture practices

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Cybersecurity or Application Security/PT
• Strong understanding of modern application architectures and distributed systems
• Expertise in Security Architecture and Secure Design Reviews
• Proficiency in Threat Modeling (STRIDE, PASTA, ATT&CK)
• Experience with Cloud Security (GCP or AWS)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Container Security
• Understanding of API Security and Identity & Access Management
• Experience with Security Automation and DevSecOps
• Familiarity with AI/ML security concepts and OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications
