Senior Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of security engineers to build and integrate tools for a scalable secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC)
• Advise engineers on building secure platforms through threat modeling and security design reviews
• Build security improvements on AWS accounts including IAM, threat detection, and encryption
• Collaborate with Engineering, IT, and GRC teams to meet operational security commitments
• Triage security events and respond to security incidents
• Develop and refine security processes, procedures, and runbooks

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience working in security
• Programming skills in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python)
• Strong understanding of effective security processes
• Ability to collaborate effectively across different teams
• Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SaaS environments and distributed systems
• Programming skills in a compiled language (e.g., Java)
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, Ansible, and git
