Senior Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Automate security processes including asset, vulnerability, and patch management using cloud-based tools and scripting
• Lead adoption of developer tooling such as linters, static analysis, and posture assessment scanners
• Build and embed security-first application primitives across products
• Contribute to AWS security and robust protection of cloud infrastructure
• Provide security guidance throughout the development lifecycle and conduct vulnerability assessments
• Identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities
• Communicate risk associated with vulnerabilities to stakeholders
• Align security strategies with business goals and maintain security documentation

Requirements

• Proven track record in automating security processes and integrating cloud-based security tools
• Experience contributing application code for security features, bug fixes, or internal tooling
• Hands-on experience with AWS security practices and tools
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Ruby, or JavaScript
• Startup mindset with a strong sense of ownership and urgency
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Willingness to work in person at the office 4-5 days a week
