Senior Security Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of security architecture across systems, networks, and applications to build inherent resilience.
• Perform realistic adversary emulation and attack-path analysis to validate controls and detections.
• Develop and operationalize detection and response capabilities, tuning monitoring to minimize noise.
• Manage the technical relationship with the Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP), including setting use-case backlogs and service reviews.
• Lead incident response efforts, from day-to-day alerts to high-profile security events.
• Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments across business-critical infrastructure and prioritize remediation.
• Partner with IT and engineering teams to embed security standards and validate technical controls.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in information security with hands-on depth in both defensive and offensive operations.
• Proven experience designing security architecture across networks, cloud, identity, and endpoints.
• Strong capability in incident response, detection engineering, and vulnerability management.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and systems architecture.
• Familiarity with industry frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST.
• Ability to operate with high autonomy and translate technical risks for diverse stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated, safety-critical environments.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, OSCP).
• Deep expertise in cloud security within major platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with applying hardening standards such as CIS Benchmarks in production environments.
