About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead threat detection and incident response operations across SIEM, EDR/XDR, and cloud-native security tools
- Produce and operationalize Cyber Threat Intelligence focusing on MITRE ATT&CK mapping
- Lead proactive threat hunting initiatives across on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
- Manage and enrich detection engineering by developing and tuning detection rules
- Monitor vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation based on active exploitation evidence
- Support compliance and security audits for PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and LGPD
- Produce tactical, operational, and strategic threat intelligence reports for technical and executive stakeholders
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in SOC operations (L2/L3 incident handling)
- Proven experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence and malware analysis
- Deep knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Experience with threat hunting using KQL, SPL, or similar query languages
- Proficiency with SIEM, EDR/XDR, and Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIPs)
- Familiarity with fintech or payments threat landscapes
- Experience in environments governed by PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, or SOC2
- Advanced English proficiency
- At least one required certification: GIAC GCTI, GIAC GCIH, GIAC GCIA, CompTIA CySA+, or eCTHP
Preferred Qualifications
- GIAC GCED, CHFI, eCDFP, or Blue Team Level 2 (BTL2) certifications
- AWS Certified Security – Specialty or Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Experience with open-source CTI tooling such as MISP, OpenCTI, YARA, or Sigma rules
