Senior SEC Reporting Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, earnings releases, and other regulatory filings to ensure GAAP and SOX compliance
• Assist with equity filings, including Form 3 and Form 4, and support the development of proxy reports
• Research and prepare technical accounting memorandums regarding complex areas such as goodwill, debt instruments, and going concern
• Implement new accounting standards and provide research support for complex transactions
• Partner with internal and external audit teams to ensure audit readiness
• Develop and mentor team members to promote knowledge sharing and operational continuity
• Identify and implement opportunities to utilize automation and AI within the financial reporting process

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA certification or equivalent
• Experience in public accounting
• 4–7+ years of relevant experience in financial reporting
• Management experience, preferably in a public company environment
• Deep understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and SOX compliance
• Proficient Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of finance systems such as NetSuite, FloQast, BlackLine, or Workiva
