Senior SDET Analyst

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated testing suites and frameworks to ensure continuous quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Participate in all SDLC steps, collaborating with peers to implement quality assurance at the source using automation
• Write and execute application tests at the source code level, including white box, unit, and component testing
• Develop software tools, utilities, and scripts for validation, verification, and end-to-end functional testing
• Integrate automated test suites with continuous integration (CI) tools for frequent execution and deployment
• Conduct performance, load, security, and service virtualization testing to identify application bottlenecks
• Work with stakeholders and developers to create intricate test plans, conditions, and data conditioning procedures
• Act as a single point of contact for assigned client projects regarding test engineering activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
• 4+ years of professional experience in software testing, coding, designing, and developing
• Proficiency in JCL, File Handling (Flat files and VSM files), and basic understanding of COBOL and DB2
• Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving Job Abends
• Comprehensive knowledge of the STLC, including test planning, scenario writing, SIT, Regression testing, and defect management
• Hands-on experience with File-manager or similar tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Software Engineering or a related technical field
• 6+ years of experience developing automated testing strategies across various environments
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium/Java or Robot/Python
• Familiarity with CA-7, Endevor, IMS, or CICS
