Senior Scrum Master

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
• Act as a servant leader and coach to support Agile teams in delivering high-quality solutions.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for clients regarding offshore delivery.
• Partner with engagement managers and customers to manage expectations, control scope creep, and report on progress and ROI.
• Own resource and capacity planning across multiple workstreams.
• Maintain accurate resource allocations, timesheets, and project financials within PSA tools like Kantata.
• Monitor and improve team effectiveness through Agile metrics and continuous learning.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master within international or global corporate environments.
• Professional Scrum Master certification (CSM or equivalent).
• SAFe Agilist certification and practical experience in scaled Agile environments.
• Strong proficiency in Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and SAFe.
• Experience working with distributed, cross-functional, and multicultural teams across different time zones.
• Hands-on experience with Agile delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
• Proven ability to manage priorities and dependencies across a portfolio of workstreams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the Financial sector or with Ledger Based Transaction Processing.
• Experience implementing workflow management utilizing various technologies.
