Senior Scientist - Target Discovery & Validation – Induced Proximity Platform (IPP)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and execute complex experimental workflows to profile and validate cell surface proteins
• Lead cell surface-based target discovery and validation projects using in vitro models including cell lines, primary cells, and tissues
• Apply proximity labeling, cell surface enrichment, and related proteomics efforts for target validation and nomination studies
• Support target functionalization efforts for multispecific antibody therapeutics, performing efficacy, mechanism of action (MoA), and drug response studies
• Collaborate with bioinformatics to analyze and interpret target discovery proteomics datasets
• Present scientific findings internally and externally through meetings, conferences, and peer-reviewed publications
• Maintain detailed electronic lab notebooks and experimental records

Requirements

• PhD in a relevant scientific field, or a Master's degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 4 years of relevant experience
• Expertise in proximity labeling proteomics platforms
• Proficiency in flow cytometry and target validation using biochemical or imaging-based techniques
• Experience with cell line generation and overexpression systems, such as lentiviral delivery

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with antibody therapeutics and functional validation of targets using cell-based assays
• Hands-on experience with cloning, expression, and purification analysis
• Familiarity with high-throughput automation platforms (e.g., Agilent Bravo) and high-content imaging platforms
• Track record of scientific innovation, publications, and/or conference presentations
• Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, multidisciplinary teams
