Senior Scientist, Systems Engineer - Mission Solution Architect

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical interface between L3Harris and customers to architect mission solutions and define requirements
• Lead proposal efforts, including the development of white papers, RFI responses, and RFP responses
• Define and document customer Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and Operational Descriptions Documents (ODD)
• Perform trade studies and technical assessments to optimize system architecture and total system of systems
• Synthesize mission architecture and decompose opportunities into addressable configuration items
• Advocate for customer critical needs to internal stakeholders and provide technical coordination between industry and internal engineering groups
• Roadmap organic technology and external partner capabilities to build new business opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 15+ years of prior related experience, or a Graduate Degree with 13+ years of experience
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 19 years of prior related experience is required
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Active US Government TS/SCI Security Clearance
• Deep knowledge of modern signal processing algorithms (adaptive filtering, beamforming, detection/estimation theory, etc.)
• Proven track record developing or evaluating advanced algorithms for radar, communications, SIGINT, or EW mission applications
• Experience collaborating with government customers, Prime contractors, or DoD research organizations
• Previous experience executing DoD/government programs
