About the role
Responsibilities
- Deploy and execute innovative, integrated synthetic biology and NGS capabilities to advance large molecule portfolio programs
- Partner with cross-functional teams to enable seamless design-build-test cycles to drive iterative learning at scale
- Translate early-stage ideas into robust, high-throughput experimental workflows, including automation-enabled pipelines
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment with a commitment to scientific rigor, high-quality data generation, and clear communication
Requirements
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Synthetic Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field; OR Master's degree with 2 years of scientific experience; OR Bachelor's degree with 4 years of scientific experience
- Strong practical and theoretical experience in molecular and synthetic biology
- Hands-on experience with Next Generation Sequencing (NGS)
- Demonstrated ability to optimize experiments and troubleshoot molecular biology workflows
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or exposure to laboratory automation and scripting
- Laboratory management experience, including equipment maintenance, reagent supply, and LIMS
- Experience with NGS data analysis or high-throughput sample management and large volume data documentation
