Responsibilities
- Independently design, develop, and optimize differentiation and tissue engineering protocols to improve organoid fidelity and maturation
- Lead day-to-day execution while mentoring and developing scientists
- Synthesize experimental results and communicate progress to scientific and program leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to integrate complementary approaches
- Foster a team culture grounded in curiosity, urgency, and technical excellence
Requirements
- PhD in Stem Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, or a related field
- Postdoctoral training or equivalent industry experience (typically 3+ years post-PhD)
- Experience with organoid microenvironment manipulation or bioengineering of tissue/organoid systems
- Deep experience influencing and interpreting cell-cell signaling
- Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting differentiation trajectories and setting up new model systems
- Strong analytical skills including experience interpreting sequencing datasets (SmartSeq2, single-cell RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, or EM-seq)
- Ability to thrive in a high-intensity, fast-paced startup environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with reproductive biology, particularly ovarian development and the germ cell lifecycle
