Senior Scientist

Responsibilities

• Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished pharmaceutical products
• Run instrumentation independently including HPLC, IC, IR, ICP, AA, TGP, DSC, PDA, and dissolution apparatus
• Prepare samples and standards for analysis with minimum supervision
• Set up and validate new analytical or related processes
• Execute method transfer protocols
• Document work in compliance with GMP standards
• Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry or related field with 5+ years of laboratory experience
• Master's degree with 2+ years of laboratory experience
• PhD with no experience
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• GMP experience
• Experience with HPLC/UPLC and CE
• Experience with large molecule biological pharmaceuticals
