About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop computational biology pipelines using cloud technologies like Dagster and Nextflow
- Design, analyze, and interpret multi-omics technologies focused on gene writing systems
- Develop computational methods to understand and model gene writing events
- Process, analyze, and interpret data from research and preclinical projects to develop hypotheses
- Collaborate with experimental scientists to ensure data utility for high-level impact
- Present scientific findings to senior leadership to drive program decision making
Requirements
- PhD with 5+ years of experience, MS with 10+ years, or BS with 12+ years of experience
- Broad knowledge of genome editing technologies and off-target discovery assays (WGS, targeted sequencing, GUIDE-seq, Digenome-seq)
- Hands-on experience developing and troubleshooting NGS analysis pipelines in cloud environments
- Experience with workflow tools such as Nextflow or Dagster
- Proficiency with AWS/cloud computing, version control, and software development best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD and unit testing
- Ability to use AI agents for work
