Senior Scientist - Cardiometabolic Disorders

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and propose therapeutic targets for the treatment of bone disease and cardiometabolic disease
• Design and perform in vitro and in vivo experiments to advance drug discovery programs
• Independently perform data analysis and interpret complex scientific results
• Communicate scientific findings through written reports and oral presentations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance therapeutic candidates
• Document all studies in electronic laboratory notebooks and formal study reports
• Provide scientific expertise and advice to colleagues within the department

Requirements

• PhD, PharmD, or MD (relevant post-doc preferred where applicable)
• Experience in bone metabolism and bone disease
• Proficiency in in vitro and in vivo pharmacology studies
• Strong skills in molecular biology techniques and data analysis
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Postdoctoral experience in bone metabolism and metabolic disease, ideally in an industry setting
• Technical mastery of cell-signaling analysis techniques including immunoblotting, RT-qPCR, and ELISA
• Experience with human genetics and genomic data mining for target identification
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality manuscripts and presentations for peer-reviewed publication
• Strong commitment to data reproducibility and integrity
