Responsibilities
- Design, engineer, and optimize antibody molecules using experimental data to guide scientific decisions
- Drive biologics programs end-to-end from target validation through lead characterization and developability triage
- Make informed modality decisions across antibodies, bispecifics, ADCs, and fusion proteins
- Design discovery packages combining cell-based functional assays and biophysical characterization (SPR/Biacore, BLI/Octet)
- Partner with Computational Biology and Machine Learning teams to integrate predictive and generative approaches into discovery workflows
- Manage external collaborators and CROs, contributing to study design and data review
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to the broader scientific identity of the biologics group
Requirements
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Pharmacology, Cell Biology, Protein Engineering, or a related life-science discipline
- Hands-on drug discovery experience in a pharma or biotech setting
- Proven track record in biologics programs (target validation, hit-to-lead, lead optimization)
- Deep knowledge of biologics modalities and discovery cascades
- Experience with cell-based functional assays and biophysical characterization
- Experience managing CROs for molecule production and in vitro/in vivo studies
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with bone biology and bone-microenvironment models
- Peer-reviewed publications in the biologics drug discovery space
- Experience in a TechBio or computationally-driven discovery environment
