Senior Scientist, Bioanalytics

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical leadership in statistical quality control (SQC), analytical method performance, and complex data analysis.
• Interpret complex datasets from laboratory results, manufacturing performance, and environmental monitoring to identify trends and risks.
• Support the development, validation, transfer, and lifecycle management of analytical methods and standards.
• Own and improve SQC programs, including control charting and the establishment of alert and action limits.
• Generate and govern enzyme standards and control programs used for global quantification and product release.
• Partner with site laboratories and cross-functional stakeholders to investigate deviations and troubleshoot analytical issues.
• Mentor and guide colleagues in analytical techniques, data interpretation, and laboratory best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of relevant experience, Master’s degree with 10+ years, or Ph.D. with 5–8 years of experience.
• Strong technical expertise in enzymology, HPLC, spectroscopy, and electrophoresis.
• Proven experience in analytical method development, validation, and lifecycle management.
• Ability to interpret complex data and recommend scientifically sound corrective actions.
• Proficiency with LIMS, SAP, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across R&D, QA/QC, Manufacturing, and Regulatory functions.
