Senior Scientific Writer

Responsibilities

• Create complex and specialized medical education and publication content, including slide decks, abstracts, posters, and manuscripts.
• Manage the end-to-end content development process, including documentation and approval within PromoMats/iEnvision.
• Develop and maintain deep subject matter expertise within assigned therapeutic areas.
• Provide strategic support to individuals and institutions to serve as resources for publication purposes.
• Collaborate with scientific communication teams and medical departments to identify publication needs and customize deliverables.
• Coach and review content created by junior scientific writers to ensure quality and professional growth.
• Work with regional vendors to ensure deliverables meet defined processes and timelines.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in content creation for the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry or academia.
• Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a similar discipline, or a medical degree.
• Proven stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively with the medical scientific community.
• Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
• Technical familiarity with publication submission, project management, or therapeutic domain knowledge.
