Senior Scheduler

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, integration, and maintenance of project baseline schedules across all project phases.
• Partner with project managers, clients, and internal teams to ensure schedules are accurate and aligned with contractual obligations.
• Provide expert-level analysis of schedule performance, identifying critical paths, variances, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate schedule review meetings with clients and stakeholders, presenting insights and recommendations.
• Conduct detailed schedule impact and delay analyses to support claims, forecasts, and recovery plans.
• Prepare high-quality schedule and progress reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
• Mentor and support junior team members to foster skill development and consistency.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in project scheduling within engineering, consulting, or professional services.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Deep understanding of the Critical Path Method (CPM) and earned value management.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex schedules with competing priorities.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

• Consulting experience across multiple sectors such as infrastructure, energy, or transportation.
• Solid understanding of construction disciplines, safety regulations, quality, and cost control.
