Senior SAP Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build foundational infrastructure including off-stack code editing via abapGit, search, identity, and GUI automation.
• Improve the agent's SAP knowledge by writing skills, refining prompts, and tuning reasoning capabilities.
• Build evaluation loops by creating repeatable test cases and benchmarks to measure improvement.
• Debug across the full stack, isolating issues within skills, prompts, ABAP code, infrastructure, or models.

Requirements

• Deep SAP technical expertise in ABAP, S/4HANA internals, transport systems, BAdIs, and enhancements.
• Polyglot engineering skills with experience in Python, TypeScript, Go, or similar.
• Informed opinions on agent design and frontier AI models.
• 5+ years of deep SAP technical work.
• Production experience with S/4HANA, Clean Core, or large-scale ABAP modernization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with BTP, RAP, CAP, or Integration Suite.
• Open-source contributions in or adjacent to the SAP ecosystem.
• Experience at an early-stage startup, infrastructure company, or developer-tools company.
