Senior SAP Basis Manager & Architect

Responsibilities

• Define and own SAP landscape architecture including S/4HANA, ECC, BW, PI/PO, and BTP integrations
• Lead architecture decisions for cloud (Azure preferred), hybrid, and on-premise environments
• Design scalable, resilient, and high-availability solutions including DR strategies and failover processes
• Lead SAP Basis activities for large-scale implementations, upgrades, and S/4HANA migrations
• Manage and govern AMS partner teams by defining SLAs, KPIs, and conducting service reviews
• Oversee daily SAP operations including system monitoring, performance tuning, and transport management
• Provide leadership for SAP security architecture, governance, and compliance with SoD and GRC requirements
• Drive automation strategies for system refreshes, monitoring, patching, and deployments

Requirements

• 12–18+ years of SAP experience with a focus on SAP Basis leadership and management roles
• Proven expertise in SAP architecture design across large enterprise landscapes
• Extensive experience managing AMS vendors and offshore delivery teams
• Strong exposure to S/4HANA programs, including upgrades, migrations, and conversions
• Deep technical knowledge of SAP Basis (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CPI/PI/PO, Fiori) and HANA DB administration
• Proficiency with OS/DB environments including Linux, Windows, Oracle, and HANA
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically Azure
• Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, Focused Run, and SAP security/GRC frameworks
