Senior SAP ABAP & Integration Technology Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP ABAP and Advanced ABAP development activities, including RICEFW, OO ABAP, CDS Views, RAP, OData, AMDP, and workflows.
• Deliver full-stack SAP development projects involving Fiori/UI5, backend ABAP components, and SAP BTP services.
• Manage and mentor a team of approximately 10 technical consultants, ensuring high-quality delivery and effective task allocation.
• Own solution design, effort estimation, and proposal creation for strategic SAP initiatives.
• Drive automation and innovation-driven development to enhance efficiency and user experience.
• Represent the technical team in senior stakeholder forums, including TDA calls, security reviews, and change management boards.
• Ensure robust delivery governance through proactive risk identification and mitigation.

Requirements

• 12+ years of hands-on experience in SAP development.
• Deep expertise in ABAP, Advanced ABAP, CDS, RAP, OData, AMDP, and workflow.
• Strong experience across multiple full SAP implementation cycles and enterprise-grade programmes.
• Exposure to full-stack SAP development (Fiori/UI5, ABAP backend, and SAP BTP services).
• Working knowledge of SAP PI/CPI for SAP and non-SAP integrations.
• Proven leadership and mentoring experience with technical teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Clean Core methodologies and API-first design.
• Knowledge of Event Mesh, Pub/Sub models, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with SAP BTP workflow and extension capabilities.
• Familiarity with security and compliance requirements in SAP delivery.
