Senior Sample Preparer

Responsibilities

• Verify and monitor technical, operational, and quality activities in the Inorganic Sample Preparation Laboratory
• Coordinate work priorities with the Shift Coordinator or Laboratory Coordinator
• Ensure proper functioning of laboratory equipment and control measurement media
• Promote compliance with instructions and manage personnel within the operational area
• Monitor the Integrated Management System (Quality, Safety, Environment, and Occupational Health)
• Maintain control over daily productivity
• Coordinate stock replenishment orders based on work needs
• Register sample entry and distribution
• Enter data into the system regarding preparation and/or testing
• Verify equipment calibration and operational status
• Identify and report problems during the preparation and/or testing process
• Manage sample and counter-sample storage control

Requirements

• High school diploma or technical degree in Chemistry, Chemical Analysis, Industrial Chemistry, or Metallurgy
• 2 years of experience in the sector or specific functions
• Knowledge of sample preparation, exploration, or physical testing
• Availability for rotating shifts
