About the role

Responsibilities

  • Sell InterStim devices for specific therapies to physicians, institutions, payors, and other medical staff
  • Manage territory base business and growth by initiating and developing strategic implanting centers
  • Develop and maintain key referral networks within the assigned territory
  • Act as the primary contact for account and implanter relationship needs, including reimbursement coordination
  • Provide product and therapy technical support and service to strategic accounts
  • Partner with Neuro business partners to present marketing and business plans for territory development

Requirements

  • High School Diploma and 8+ years of experience, OR Associate’s Degree and 6+ years of experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of experience
  • Proven sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
  • Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance
  • Ability to travel frequently to customer clinics, hospitals, and offsite meetings (approximately 50% of the time)
  • Ability to reside within the assigned territory

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience calling on Neurology, Urology, or Colorectal Surgeons
  • Knowledge of the reimbursement climate and managed care
  • Experience with implantable devices and familiarity with the Operating Room (O.R.)
  • Strong skills in business planning, territory financial analysis, and consultative sales
  • Experience developing new, innovative markets
