About the role
Responsibilities
- Sell InterStim devices for specific therapies to physicians, institutions, payors, and other medical staff
- Manage territory base business and growth by initiating and developing strategic implanting centers
- Develop and maintain key referral networks within the assigned territory
- Act as the primary contact for account and implanter relationship needs, including reimbursement coordination
- Provide product and therapy technical support and service to strategic accounts
- Partner with Neuro business partners to present marketing and business plans for territory development
Requirements
- High School Diploma and 8+ years of experience, OR Associate’s Degree and 6+ years of experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of experience
- Proven sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
- Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance
- Ability to travel frequently to customer clinics, hospitals, and offsite meetings (approximately 50% of the time)
- Ability to reside within the assigned territory
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience calling on Neurology, Urology, or Colorectal Surgeons
- Knowledge of the reimbursement climate and managed care
- Experience with implantable devices and familiarity with the Operating Room (O.R.)
- Strong skills in business planning, territory financial analysis, and consultative sales
- Experience developing new, innovative markets
