Senior Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Active involvement in direct and indirect sales of Babylonstoren products (wine, deli products)
• Welcome and serve clients in a professional, knowledgeable, and friendly manner
• Arrange and facilitate wine tastings, private tours, and special client experiences
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, corporate partners, and distributors
• Represent Babylonstoren during functions, festivals, and trade events
• Collect market intelligence and provide feedback to relevant departments
• Collaborate with internal teams (hospitality, garden, wine, marketing) to deliver integrated client experiences
• Manage administration, sales reports, and client databases where applicable
• Travel nationally as required
• Service and grow Johannesburg and surrounding trade in sales, functions, and marketing
• Based in Bloemfontein

Requirements

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Sales, Hospitality, Tourism, Brand Management, or Viticulture (preferred)
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in a sales or client-facing role, preferably in the wine, tourism, or premium brand sector
• Proven experience in customer service and relationship building at a senior level
• Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English (verbal and written)
• Computer literate (MS Office, sales systems, CRM software)
• Valid driver's license and own transport
