Senior Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Purchase scrap products from dealers and B2B sources to meet or exceed tonnage goals while optimizing profit margins
• Visit dealers and industrial suppliers in person or via phone to promote new and repeat business
• Develop reliable contact networks to stay updated on local and regional market pricing and trends
• Negotiate new contracts with clients
• Use knowledge of sorting and processing operations to optimize pricing decisions
• Coordinate with administrative and sales teams to ensure accurate documentation of purchase transactions
• Provide coaching to the team

Requirements

• College diploma in business, sales, marketing, or equivalent experience
• Over 3 years of experience in the recycling sector (ferrous and non-ferrous metal experience is an asset)
• Strong customer service, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and ability to travel within the territory
• Bilingual in French and English
