Senior Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth and maximize group sales for the Luskin Conference Center
• Secure new business and manage high-impact partnerships with external vendors and affinity partners
• Negotiate high-dollar-value financial contracts and close complex sales
• Serve as the premier point of contact for senior corporate, business, and community leaders
• Utilize data analytics to make high-stakes revenue decisions and evaluate sales effectiveness
• Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and billing explanations using strong math and accounting skills
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless event execution

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a hotel Group Sales Manager or Senior Sales Manager
• Proven ability to negotiate and close high-dollar-value financial contracts
• Working knowledge of catering and conferencing, including menu planning, room setups, and AV equipment
• Proficiency in Delphi hospitality software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with diverse populations
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of University accounting forms and procedures
• Working knowledge of Food & Beverage department policies and procedures
