About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Route-to-Market (R2M) strategy for Coleman within the China retail channel.
  • Manage and expand brand-owned flagship store coverage to achieve sales revenue and SGM targets.
  • Oversee authorized distributors, conducting annual business plans and regular reviews to ensure commercial target achievement and optimal in-store execution.
  • Negotiate with landlords for new store locations and contract renewals to ensure strategic placement and cost-efficiency.
  • Lead and develop the Coleman regional sales force, providing coaching and competency development.
  • Partner with Marketing teams on product launches, in-store activities, livestreams, and CRM programs.
  • Collaborate with Planning, Supply, and Customer Service teams to streamline forecasting and after-sales service.
  • Monitor local market trends and competitor activity to provide strategic feedback to headquarters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 10+ years of experience with global premium lifestyle, outdoor, or sportswear brands.
  • Proven experience in flagship store management and distributor-based business models.
  • Extensive knowledge of nationwide business management in China (specifically Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Chengdu).
  • Strong expertise in R2M strategy planning, pricing, assortment management, and distributor selection.
  • Proficiency in P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and leadership skills.
  • Fluent verbal and written English communication skills.
