About the role
Responsibilities
- Achieve daily targeted number of sales calls and document interactions in CRM
- Develop business leads and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective accounts
- Prepare monthly account penetration lists and detailed market analysis
- Plan site inspections and entertainment meetings with potential accounts
- Monitor competitor rate strategies, account penetration, and marketing activities
- Manage accounts including contracting, profile updates, and renewals
- Up-sell and cross-sell hotel facilities and services to maximize revenue
- Conduct negotiations to achieve best profit margins and competitive rates
- Mentor and support junior sales team members
- Track and report on KPIs including conversion rates and revenue targets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business, or Marketing
- 5-7 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry
- 1-2 years in a senior sales manager role
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and revenue goals
- Proficiency with CRM systems and hotel management software
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Experience with luxury or upscale hotel brands
- Knowledge of group sales, corporate accounts, and event management
