Senior Sales Instructional Design Consultant

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise learning solutions for commercial sales professionals.
• Serve as a strategic consultant to business leaders to identify performance gaps and recommend effective learning strategies.
• Translate complex product and sales concepts into engaging, learner-centered experiences including ILT, VILT, eLearning, and video-based learning.
• Create visually modern content using storytelling and interactive elements rather than text-heavy formats.
• Partner with sales leadership, subject matter experts, and marketing teams to drive alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to improve learning quality, scalability, and efficiency.
• Mentor and coach instructional design team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 12+ years of demonstrated instructional design experience, including leadership of complex enterprise initiatives.
• Proven experience designing and delivering both virtual and classroom-based learning programs.
• Advanced knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies, and performance consulting.
• Advanced proficiency with Camtasia, Articulate Rise, video editing software, and graphic design tools.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing learning solutions specifically for professional sales organizations.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting healthcare, health insurance, or other highly regulated industry environments.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and reporting.
• Experience designing digital learning ecosystems, such as learning websites or portals.
• Ability to measure learning effectiveness and business impact through data and analytics.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled learning technologies and content development tools.
