About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets for solar testing and certification services.
- Identify and secure new clients including solar module manufacturers, EPC contractors, project developers, and IPPs.
- Drive pipeline growth through proactive prospecting, networking, and active industry engagement.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders across the solar value chain.
- Retain and grow existing accounts through strategic cross-selling and upselling of services.
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop customized proposals and technical solutions for clients.
- Lead contract negotiations and ensure successful closure with customers.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory updates, and competitor offerings to provide market feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or Renewable Energy preferred).
- 5–10 years of experience in B2B technical sales.
- Proven experience within the Solar PV industry.
- Direct experience in Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) services.
- Strong track record of managing complex sales cycles and technical solution selling.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent business qualification.
- Established network of relationships with OEMs, EPCs, and developers in the renewable energy sector.
