About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute sales strategies to prioritize account portfolios and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Interface directly with customers to promote and sell UL's testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) products and services.
- Drive the full sales lifecycle from initial discovery and opportunity identification to proposal and closing.
- Establish connections with new logo prospects through inbound and outbound channels to qualify needs and land new customers.
- Proactively manage existing customers to ensure service renewals and identify opportunities for specialty product expansion.
- Collaborate with technical engineers, Sales Support Specialists, and Global/Strategic Account Managers to support complex sales processes.
- Transition closed sales to fulfillment teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer success.
Requirements
- 6+ years of related sales experience.
- Deep knowledge and experience with specialty products and services within the TIC (Testing, Inspection, and Certification) sector.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Bachelor's or graduate degree in engineering or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
- Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of professional sales processes.
