About the role
Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities and achieve assigned sales targets
- Analyze customer requirements, market trends, and competitor activities
- Conduct techno-commercial presentations and negotiations with clients
- Manage the complete sales cycle from inquiry generation to order closure
- Prepare detailed techno-commercial proposals and pricing strategies
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business
- Address commercial or technical concerns and ensure customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with design, production, and service teams for smooth execution
- Travel for client meetings, exhibitions, and trade shows as required
- Maintain updated customer databases and sales performance reports
Requirements
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- 2–4 years of experience in machinery or manufacturing sales
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Good commercial awareness and business acumen
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Target-oriented and revenue-focused mindset
- Willingness to travel as required
