About the role

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities and achieve assigned sales targets
  • Analyze customer requirements, market trends, and competitor activities
  • Conduct techno-commercial presentations and negotiations with clients
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from inquiry generation to order closure
  • Prepare detailed techno-commercial proposals and pricing strategies
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business
  • Address commercial or technical concerns and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate with design, production, and service teams for smooth execution
  • Travel for client meetings, exhibitions, and trade shows as required
  • Maintain updated customer databases and sales performance reports

Requirements

  • Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • 2–4 years of experience in machinery or manufacturing sales
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Good commercial awareness and business acumen
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership
