Senior Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery conversations with customer engineering and data teams
• Understand customer architecture, databases, APIs, integrations, and data workflows
• Deliver tailored product demos aligned to specific customer use cases
• Own Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and technical validations with clear success criteria
• Partner with Account Executives on technical strategy, objection handling, and competitive positioning
• Support RFPs/RFIs and technical evaluations
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to relay critical customer feedback

Requirements

• 7+ years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, or Solution Architecture within B2B SaaS
• Strong experience conducting technical discovery for global customers
• Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases, REST APIs, and integrations
• Deep knowledge of data architectures, system design, and Cloud/SaaS ecosystems
• Strong database expertise with excellent technical problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Willingness to work US hours from the Bengaluru/Pune office

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ETL/ELT, data warehouses, or analytics platforms
• Exposure to Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks
