Senior Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

• Qualify deals in collaboration with Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, and sales management
• Conduct discovery meetings to understand customer business requirements and technical environments
• Articulate usage scenarios that illustrate business value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Design and execute Dataiku demonstrations and Proof-of-Concepts (POC) to showcase data science capabilities
• Provide technical guidance to customer teams regarding implemented solutions
• Support sales pipeline building through industry conferences, trade shows, and marketing campaigns

Requirements

• Fluency in English and French is required
• 5+ years of experience with predictive modelling
• Strong understanding of relational data structures and SQL
• Experience with cloud infrastructures such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Proven experience in technical pre-sales or client-facing roles (e.g., consulting)
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders ranging from individual contributors to C-level executives

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
• Experience in the data science, analytics, or big data markets
• Knowledge of Dutch language skills
• Experience with Analytics/AI or other enterprise software platforms
