About the role

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic advisor and domain authority for fund managers, institutional allocators, and OCIOs.
  • Partner with Account Executives to design complex deal structures and multi-year expansion roadmaps.
  • Lead technical portions of the sales cycle, including POC construction, RFPs, RFIs, and Statements of Work.
  • Conduct executive-level discovery to identify business inefficiencies and map them to technical solutions involving AI and data lakehouses.
  • Demonstrate how Addepar's AI-powered insights and platform modernization create value for institutional clients.
  • Mentor teammates and establish sales playbooks to institutionalize standards for technical validation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Professional Services, and Legal teams.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Sales Engineering or Solutions Architecture, specifically closing high-revenue enterprise deals.
  • Deep domain expertise in investment management and analysis (LPs and GPs).
  • High-level systems design skills and knowledge of modern software architecture and APIs.
  • Fluency in AI-driven software and modern data ecosystems.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Ability to travel 10–20%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CFA, CFP, or a Master's degree.
  • Experience navigating global enterprise procurement processes.
  • Understanding of complex data set integration and data lakehouse workflows.
