Responsibilities
- Lead strategic outreach to assigned accounts to create new business opportunities.
- Understand prospect business challenges and organizational structures to approach appropriate personas and set high-quality meetings.
- Partner with Account Executives (AE) to drive new pipeline creation, including Cap1 SQO and CapN Use Cases.
- Follow up quickly and effectively on Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) to convert them into sales opportunities.
- Utilize Salesforce, Sales Engagement tools, and various data sources to continuously improve activity quality and productivity.
- Build reproducible success models by optimizing hypothesis, prioritization, and messaging for target accounts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with AE, Marketing, Partners, and Solution Engineering to expand customer touchpoints.
- Contribute to the overall growth of the Sales Development organization by sharing best practices and knowledge with junior members.
Requirements
- Experience in Sales Development, Inside Sales, Business Development, or similar customer acquisition roles within the SaaS or enterprise software industry.
- Proven track record of creating new opportunities and building pipelines in corporate sales environments involving multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to perform strategic outreach based on target company research, account planning, and hypothesis building.
- Excellent communication skills using multiple channels such as phone, email, and LinkedIn.
- Ability to work at speed while collaborating with internal stakeholders like AE and Marketing.
- Commitment to numerical targets with a focus on both activity volume and quality.
- Proficiency in managing pipelines and activities using CRM and Sales Engagement tools.
- Fluency in Japanese and comfort performing business tasks in English.
- A "One Team" mindset with the ability to collaborate and involve others to maximize results.
