Responsibilities

  • Deliver and execute sales strategies for Banking Hall in collaboration with the Head of Spaces
  • Lead day-to-day handling and conversion of incoming enquiries
  • Manage diary, identify new markets, and record data via CRM software
  • Execute proactive business development and relationship management with clients and agencies
  • Monitor sales targets and KPIs to ensure high standards of sales operations
  • Conduct site visits and identify upselling opportunities
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to deliver evidence-based marketing strategies
  • Manage event invoicing, debt management, and P&L reporting
  • Oversee the handover process from sales to operations
  • Manage people and HR proceedings as required

Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering business strategies for complex venues
  • At least 4 years of experience in an event venue sales team or similar
  • Experience managing and inspiring teams across sales, operations, and facilities
  • Demonstrable commerciality in sales negotiations and achieving targets
  • Knowledge of the local venue market and venue finding agents
  • Experience delivering sales budgets, P&Ls, and financial reports
  • Ability to manage multiple venue projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Mac, G-Suite, and Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Salesforce or HubSpot
  • Proficiency in EventWorks or similar diary management software
